Single CAT5E or CAT6 Ethernet Connection provides both video transmission and power to the camera.
Battery operated - no power cable required. Connects to a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) through a wireless transmitter.
Power-over-Ethernet technology provides constant power to the cameras, which allows for 24/7 surveillance and continuous video recording.
An advanced PIR (passive infrared) sensor designed to detect moving heat patterns (such as people, animals or cars) will trigger Diurnal wire-free cameras to turn on and start recording.
These 4K Nocturnal cameras record at an impressive pixel ratio of 3840 x 2160 for a whopping total of 8,294,400 pixels. With this number of pixels, expect to see high quality video resolution where every distinct feature is clearly outlined and identifiable.
The 2MP (megapixel) sensor at the core of the Diurnal wire-free camera captures full 1080p HD video with clear color depth. This high-quality resolution produces clear and accurate footage that will help distinguish relevant characteristics such as facial features and other small, but important details.
Color Night Vision adds a whole new level of security because the cameras will be able to identify crucial details such as the color of hair, clothing or cars.
Diurnal wire-free cameras come equipped with 6 LED bulbs that project infrared light up to 150ft in front of the cameras.
Nocturnal IP security cameras are always powered on and recording, which makes them well suited for high traffic areas.
Diurnal wire-free security cameras are best suited for lower-traffic areas because the cameras will turn on whenever motion is detected, so high traffic areas will cause the battery to deplete at a quicker rate.
Select Nocturnal cameras can record at a real-time rate of 30fps (frames per second). This guarantees that all movement on camera is smooth, so you won't miss any important moments.
Diurnal cameras record video at an average rate of 15fps. This frame rate, although not real-time, still produces smooth on-screen movement while saving storage space on the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and helping with wireless data transfer.
Nocturnal security cameras have an IP67 weatherproof rating and continue to operate in extreme temperatures as low as -22°F / -30°C.
Diurnal wire-free cameras are rated IP66 and can be safely installed outdoors in climates ranging from -4°F to 113°F (-20° to 45°C).
Select Nocturnal cameras come with a built-in microphone that records audio along with video for added protection.
Diurnal wire-free security cameras offer an extra level of security with listen-in and two-way audio capabilities.
Video can be stored directly on the NVR's heavy-duty hard drive and in the cloud through a paid subscription (optional).
All video footage is automatically stored on the security certified hard drive that's found in the DVR. This means that there are no mandatory monthly cloud service fees involved.
HEVC (High Efficiency Video Recording) or H.265 is the latest video encoding technology that helps decrease the amount of video data stored on the hard drive.
H.264 encoding is the most widely used compression technology for HD video content.
